Prepping for the rubrails

The biggest news here – our new german shephard puppy, Tio.  His first (and last?) time aboard the pocketship.  He has been a great workshop companion  – doesn’t mind all the sounds of the shop vac, sander, saws, etc.

Finished fiberglasses to top portion of the outside of the hull.  Once the hull is flipped over I can start on the bottom.   Once the 3 coats of epoxy are cured, it was sanded smooth

The beginning of the companion way hood assembly.

Couldn’t go any farther without the use of a table saw.  With much thanks to our neighbor Pete, got the mast rabbits, companion hood groove and most of the rubrails cut.

Had to join two lengths of mahogany for the rubrails
